Things the month of November has taught me:

- The strongest prayers are usually the scariest ones to say.

- Men will always fail you. I’m not saying that out of a male bashing mindset, I’m saying that even the “perfect” man will never make me happy like God can.

- God’s love is sweetest when suffering.

- Television is overrated. I’ve gone from watching it everyday to only 1-2 a week.

- Marking up my bible and writing notes and prayers in it is probably the best idea I’ve had in my Christian walk in a while.

- Francis Chan’s “Forgotten God” and “Crazy Love” are friggin anointed and all I want to do is change.

God, you are so amazing.

Despite your trials, your storms, and your questions….God is working for your good.

Okay soooo

I know I hardly write anything here but can I just say that the book of Acts is amazing? It’s the one book in the bible that I’ve ignored for years for whatever reason. I finally felt the need to read it and I literally was consumed by it. What if the church today was like the first church in Acts? What if we all really took up the idea of being “fishers of men” seriously? What if we constantly encouraged our brothers and sisters? What if we just let go and let the holy spirit led our lives?

Oh, what a life that’d be.
